By using Emnu you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

What Emnu is

Emnu is a journal for what you eat and what you weigh. It estimates calories and macros from what you tell it. It is not a medical device and does not give medical, dietary or health advice. Talk to a professional before changing your diet for a health reason.

Accuracy

Food values come from public databases and from language models, and both can be wrong. Emnu marks estimates and uncertain servings so you can correct them. You are responsible for checking anything you rely on.

Your account

Emnu creates an anonymous account on your device. Your journal is tied to that device. If you delete the app or your account, the journal is gone and cannot be recovered.

Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription, purchased through Apple. The price and billing period are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other people’s data, overload the service, or use it to build a competing dataset. Emnu may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

Emnu is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on the numbers it shows.
